Its time for Windows 7 RC users to check Windows Update again because just a few moments ago, Microsoft has pushed their scheduled Test Updates for Windows 7 RC as well as Language Packs for Windows 7 Ultimate Edition:
So far only French, German, Spanish and Japanese languages are available as part of Windows 7 Ultimate Language Packs.
Windows 7 language packs are available for computers that are running Windows 7 Ultimate. The Windows 7 language packs can be installed only from the Optional Updates section on the Windows Update site. These language packs are not available on the Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) Web site or through the Microsoft Download Center.
The test updates do not deliver new features or any hotfixes. They only replace system files with the same file that is currently on the system but with an updated version number.
