First, if a person has PURCHASED Windows 7 in a store and if the person who purchased it will not provide a copy out to anybody else, then it is not pirated and Microsoft has been paid.

Second, a licenses is a CONTRACT between Microsoft and the person installing it. A contact is a civil matter.

Third, the price tag did not include anything about personal information and even if it did, we live in a monetary society, not barter.

Finally, when products are released and major bugs discovered in the first few minutes, there is no way you can convince me MS was unaware of them, yet released it anyways. That is selling a fraud. I have a resonable expectation that the product will work well and not have any UNREASONABLE bugs.
