As for backup, Windows backup features have never been easy to use and constantly backed up some temp crap or the Program Files folder's contents or something else that is not needed. I know that in Vista you cannot choose the specific folders that you want to backup. I am using Vista Ultimate myself but that is mainly because I needed Russian MUI while the preinstalled Home Premium was in English and I didn't want to lose my files and settings by reinstalling the Russian one. I was also tempted by the Extras. Now I think even Windows 7 Ultimate is not worth that amount of money. Already ordered a Windows 7 Home Premium. Unfortunately, Amazon offers only boxed versions. It will ship to my American friend's house as I reside in Russia. She will email the activation key to me.
