It’s that time of the week! iPhone and iPad users kick back and indulge in a paid title gone free thanks to Apple’s Free App of the Week promotion. Today’s title usually retails for $3.99 on the App Store, but can be download for free till next Thursday.

Love You To Bits is a puzzler, one that “is a crazy cute, purely visual, puzzle-filled, point-and-click, sci-fi adventure spanning all around the universe.” The visuals on this game are fantastic and this being the first time that it has dropped it price tag, you can check that out for yourself.

The theme of the game is set around a space explorer named Kosmos, but he’s as rookie a space explorer can get. Oh and he’s also had his heart broken with a the fatal accident of his robot girlfriend. With her pieces scattered all across the outer space, Kosmos (you) are out to retrieve all those parts and put her back together again. Suddenly the title makes every ‘bit’ of sense no?

As Kosmos, you will be “exploring strangest worlds and planets, full of fantastic aliens, space-time puzzles, and hidden objects to collect. As you complete levels, you will discover Kosmo and Nova’s heartbreaking love story!”

You will come across “mind-boggling” puzzles and even have to counter or “outsmart” – as the developer says – “dozens of bizarre creatures and aliens from all around the universe!”.

A storyline however, can only be as engaging as the feel of the game. “With pure visual-storytelling with stylized visuals and a hair-raising soundtrack!” Love You To Bits is no slouch and it’s great to see that attention has been paid even to the finest of the details.

The developer has also said that “extra unique” levels will also be added to the title soon enough, and to our delight, they will not require any in-app purchases.

So if you are planning on staying in this weekend and just kicking it back on your lounger, do give Love You To Bits a whirl on your iOS device, while the offer still lasts.

As mentioned earlier, you can download the game for free till next Thursday.
