This is a awesome phone, I just got mine on the last two months of my ATT iPhone contract and simply switched SIM cards.<br><br>I purchased the TMobile version, so that means I can only use Edge on ATT until my contract is up and I can use 3G with Tmobile.<br><br>Oddly I am enjoying this phone with edge way more then I was with the iPhone on 3g. So with tmobile you might be able to do a simple talk plan only, and use wifi if that is what you want. I'm not sure if they will do this but, I'm sure there is a way, Not overkill at all!
