TaiG 2.1.3 Download For iOS 8.3 Jailbreak Released, Here’s What Is New

TaiG 2.1.3 is now available to download. Still available for Windows only, TaiG can jailbreak iOS 8.3, 8.2 and 8.1.3 on all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models.

This new version fixes issues like getting stuck at 20% during jailbreak, app icons disappearing, tool not working on virtual machines, and adds Cydia 1.1.18 among other things.

Here’s the full official changelog of version 2.1.3:

Fix the issue of getting stuck at 20% while jailbreaking.

Update the latest Cydia 1.1.18 and UIKitTools 1.1.1.0; fix the issue of icon missing after Jailbreak.

Fix long startup time of iPhone 4s after jailbreak.

Fix the issue that TaiG Jailbreak Tool doesn’t work on the virtual machine.

Like all previous 2.x versions of TaiG, it supports jailbreak on iPhone 6 Plus, 6, 5s, 5c, 5, 4s, iPad Air 2, 1, iPad 4, 3, 2, iPod touch 5 running iOS 8.3, 8.2 and 8.1.3.

Already jailbroken?

If you are already jailbroken, you don’t need to jailbreak again as an update for v2.1.3 is available for already jailbroken devices on Cydia.

To update, simply add apt.taig.com repository to Cydia, search for TaiG 8.1.3-8.x Untether version 2.1.3 package, as shown in the screenshot below, and update to it. (Update: The untether package for v2.1.3 is now available on Cydia’s default Telesphoreo repository.)
