Paul at Modaco forums has finally released a very alpha version of the HTC Desire ROM with HTC Sense for Nexus One that we posted about a few days ago. The ROM also packs Flash 10.1 for Android along with lots of widgets for the HTC Sense experience. There are some bugs and glitches here and there but since its an alpha ROM, these can be expected. Here is how it looks like running on Nexus One.

Folks over at Modaco forums are working on porting the new HTC Sense experience from the newly released HTC Desire over to the Google-branded Nexus One phone. For those of you who don’t know, HTC Desire was unveiled yesterday by HTC at the Mobile World Congress 2010. Specs wise, this phone is exactly as powerful as the Google phone with 1Ghz processor, 512MB RAM, 3.7’’ AMOLED display and so on. The leaked HTC roadmap for 2010 revealed a number of Windows Mobile and Android powered handsets. It was here in this leaked report, where Android based flagship phone, the HTC Bravo made its first appearance along with its image and launch date as April 2010. With almost identical features and specifications, HTC Bravo is the European variant of HTC Passion which as some rumors suggest, is on track for a January 2010 launch in the States where as HTC Bravo will be launching three months later in April 2010 in Europe through T-Mobile. This news may be a big disappointment for those who would have wished to include it in their holiday shopping list.

Moments ago, we notified you about HTC working on getting the next generation Android 2.1 on HTC Hero. And now we have been notified by an anonymous tipster that the genius folks over at XDA have already managed to run a leaked copy of Android 2.1 OS on Hero, and it is now available for download on XDA-Developers forums. This Android 2.1 Rom for Hero comes with the newer version of HTC Sense UI, specially optimized to run this version of OS.

Android 2.1 for HTC Hero

We all heard the news about HTC Hero getting official upgrade for Android 2.0 platform. Even the official HTC twitter account confirmed this when they tweeted about this possible upgrade last month. But now it looks like HTC has better plans for its Hero owners. According the news posted by BGR, HTC is working on getting the next generation Android 2.1 upgrade for HTC Hero. This could possibly mean that the plans for getting Android 2.0 on Hero might have been abandoned all together.
