According to this report from Clayton Morris of Fox News, we’ll see Apple Tablet, the next-gen iPhone software dubbed as “iPhone 4”, and iLife 2010 next week at the special Apple event in San Francisco. The next-generation iPhone 4G however wont be the part of the event. Clayton, who talked to a source at Apple this morning confirms that the January 27th event will mainly focus around these three products.

Wow! I didn’t saw this coming from Apple!. According to the latest reports from Chinese Commercial Times, Apple is planning to launch 22-inches capacitive touchscreen iMac’s sometime this year. We all know that HP already has all-in-one TouchSmart PCs for a while now, with multitouch capable capacitive screens, and an OS like Windows 7 which fully supports those gestures.

These days, a lot of rumors surrounding Apple iTablet/iSlate like device are flying around in the air. Most of these rumors are centered around its name, features and launch date. And now according to a news story published by CNET, an analyst at AVI Securities has disclosed that the production of Apple’s upcoming Tablet device is in full swing. A research note also stated that the increase in requirement for “NAND” flash chips by Apple is probably due to the production requirements of this Tablet.

What is interesting about this Slate PC is that instead of running a stripped down or a customized version of Windows or Windows Mobile, it will be running full fledged version of Windows 7 (Starter most probably). PhoneArena has managed to grab leaked documents of the upcoming Apple tablet via an anonymous tipster, which reveals the detailed specifications of the said device. While the authenticity of the document is in question, what is more interesting is the fact that it will be running on top of Intel Core 2 Duo processor, will feature projection capabilities, and will be powered by OS X 10.7 “Clouded Leopard”.

A little while ago, Digitimes has published a story stating Foxconn’s screen division Innolux, to supply Apple with a 10-inch screen for its upcoming Tablet. It has further added that the panels are being strength treated by G-Tech Optoelectronics, also a division of Foxconn. Concurrently, Macrumors is quoting Taiwan’s Economic Daily paper, stating that Cheng Uei Precision Industry today has received an order for “connectors” for Apple’s new tablet computer.

According to informed sources at BGR, Apple has asked a few selected developers to prepare their apps that should support full screen resolution, and should be designed in a way to run on a larger screen rather than a 320×480 resolution screen of the iPhone. This news have given strength to the belief that Apple in its labs, has been discreetly preparing the long-rumored 7-inch tablet device to be made public in an event held in January 2010. Rumor also has it that a 9, and 11 inches tablets will follow this 7-inches tablet soon after.
