According to this report from Clayton Morris of Fox News, we’ll see Apple Tablet, the next-gen iPhone software dubbed as “iPhone 4”, and iLife 2010 next week at the special Apple event in San Francisco. The next-generation iPhone 4G however wont be the part of the event. Clayton, who talked to a source at Apple this morning confirms that the January 27th event will mainly focus around these three products.

It is now confirmed. Apple has just sent out loads of invites via email for the long rumored special event, which is now scheduled to be held at 10 AM PST on January 27th, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco.

Wow! I didn’t saw this coming from Apple!. According to the latest reports from Chinese Commercial Times, Apple is planning to launch 22-inches capacitive touchscreen iMac’s sometime this year. We all know that HP already has all-in-one TouchSmart PCs for a while now, with multitouch capable capacitive screens, and an OS like Windows 7 which fully supports those gestures.

These days, a lot of rumors surrounding Apple iTablet/iSlate like device are flying around in the air. Most of these rumors are centered around its name, features and launch date. And now according to a news story published by CNET, an analyst at AVI Securities has disclosed that the production of Apple’s upcoming Tablet device is in full swing. A research note also stated that the increase in requirement for “NAND” flash chips by Apple is probably due to the production requirements of this Tablet.

Here we go again. Another day, another concept video of the upcoming Apple iTablet/iSlate surfaces in the wild. Obviously this isn’t the real deal, just another *fake* mockup by a French site named BeGeek.fr. Sources close to BGR has dropped some exclusive information regarding the upcoming iSlate/Tablet device from Apple. The said device, which is likely to be announced on January 27th will feature a very fast ARM processor, and will run on top of iPhone kernel. As reported previously, Steve Ballmer in his keynote today at CES 2010 announced the HP Slate PC which is said to go retail later this year. What is interesting about this Slate PC is that instead of running a stripped down or a customized version of Windows or Windows Mobile, it will be running full fledged version of Windows 7 (Starter most probably). CrunchGear has got the latest scoop on the rumored Microsoft/HP built slate/tablet PC. According to their sources, Microsoft in partnership with HP is set to announce a portable Slate like tablet PC which will run on top of Microsoft software.

Of course we don’t know what kind of design folks at Cupertino have in mind for this niche market, neither do we know who the target audience is or what kind of functionality will it provide. But what we do know is that Apple is going to announce something on these lines on January 26, 2010, at a mega event to be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

PhoneArena has managed to grab leaked documents of the upcoming Apple tablet via an anonymous tipster, which reveals the detailed specifications of the said device. While the authenticity of the document is in question, what is more interesting is the fact that it will be running on top of Intel Core 2 Duo processor, will feature projection capabilities, and will be powered by OS X 10.7 “Clouded Leopard”.

A little while ago, Digitimes has published a story stating Foxconn’s screen division Innolux, to supply Apple with a 10-inch screen for its upcoming Tablet. It has further added that the panels are being strength treated by G-Tech Optoelectronics, also a division of Foxconn. Concurrently, Macrumors is quoting Taiwan’s Economic Daily paper, stating that Cheng Uei Precision Industry today has received an order for “connectors” for Apple’s new tablet computer.

The rumors about the release of Apple’s long awaited Tablet has been on fire for the last few days and so are the speculations about its name. A day earlier, we informed you that Apple had secretly purchased the domain “iSlate.com” back in 2007. Domain was registered through some intermediary by the name ‘Markmonitor.com’ to disguise the real owner. You can check out the screenshot of that registration form which we have posted here.

Rumors about the Apple’s forthcoming tablet device are hot and spreading like fire. Earlier this week, Apple reportedly asked developers to prepare their existing iPhone apps for larger displays. They then booked the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco for a possible event to unveil the rumored Apple tablet device.

According to informed sources at BGR, Apple has asked a few selected developers to prepare their apps that should support full screen resolution, and should be designed in a way to run on a larger screen rather than a 320×480 resolution screen of the iPhone. This news have given strength to the belief that Apple in its labs, has been discreetly preparing the long-rumored 7-inch tablet device to be made public in an event held in January 2010. Rumor also has it that a 9, and 11 inches tablets will follow this 7-inches tablet soon after.

Up until now, we all have seen countless concept prototypes that shows off the supposedly rumored Apple Tablet which the folks in Cupertino have been secretly working on. But none of them comes close to this one, published by a French site named NoWhereElse. This is the prototype that I for one wish was for real.
