after using Spirit to jailbreak the phone, can I use ultrasn0w to unlock?
how do I know if my phone has been successfully jailbreaked and unlocked?
os: 3.1.3
fw: 05.12.01
cydia has been downloaded by Spirit
then install ultrasn0w from cydia
do I need to do anything else?? such as downgrade from 05.12 to 04.xx (or whatever it's supposed to be.)

Thanks a lot it worked perfect for my iphone, I was on firmware 3.1.2 tethered jailbreak which was pain to me. now I am jailbroken and untethered. I faced some problems having the spirit software to work initially, then later redownloaded it and worked perfectly. My advice do back up before you do any thing as you might end up by loosing all your data. Thanks again

Download latest vrsion of ifunbox and it will probably work.

Hi, Thanks for this it has worked with my iphone once you download it, it works simular to black rain after you just add the sources brought the 3gs iphone and done it straight awat, belive me it is easy to do only took 3secs to do after downloading it

I jailbreak my Iphone 3GS 3.1.2 05.11.07 MC139MM with Spirit, and after installing SBSettings, Open SSh, I can not connect it with my Mac via USB. The Iphone is not recognized, but it is recharging?

i just jailbtroke my 3gs mb 3.1.3 5.12.01 with spirit it works like a charm the only downfall and this isn't a complaint i can't use ifunbox or diskaid but other then that i'm happy to have my iphone alive again.
