A very promising new app has been released for iPhone and iPod touch which lets you record all the action happening on your iPhone screen so that you can share it with your friends and colleagues. Called as ScreenRecorder, this app can be very useful in situations where you want to record a tutorial, demo or demonstration for sharing it on your blog, family and friends.
This application let’s you take video captures of your screen. This is extremely useful for quick tutorials or demonstrations, or when you want to show proof of a new hack you have accomplished. There are obviously many other uses for this. For example, you could use this like a “Notes” application, but with video instead of words!
Since the app uses lots of resources during screen recording, don’t be too surprised if it crashes a lot, specially on iPod touch 2G and iPhone 3G both of which have less RAM when compared to iPhone 3GS.
ScreenRecorder app requires you to have an jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch. You can follow our complete jailbreaking guide for iPhone 3.1.3 firmware for iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS and iPod touch 1G/2G using redsn0w 0.9.3, redsn0w 0.9.4, sn0wbreeze, PwnageTool 3.1.5.
