The holiday season is pretty much around the corner, and as the trend goes every year, it’s to be expected that we’ll see a number of retailers offer a wide variety of sales and discounts on a number of items. Being a tech outlet, we have a vested interest in all things technology and gadgetry, so when we heard of a leaked flyer from Sam’s Club that supposedly indicates that the wholesaler will slash the price of the new iPhone 6 by $100 starting November 15, we got excited, and we decided to share the news with you. Yup, on November 15, starting 7am local time, you can get your hands on a brand new iPhone 6 with two-year contract for just $99 for the 16GB variant!
The leaked flyer indicates that all the memory variants of the iPhone 6 are getting a $100 discount courtesy of Sam’s Club, with the prices being effective “in-club” only (obviously). As mentioned above, the 16GB iPhone 6 (in any color) will retail for $99, while the 64GB and 128GB models will go for $199 and $299, respectively. There’s a catch, however; each location of Sam’s Club will house 40-50 units only, so the promotion is not just for a limited time, but it’s on an insanely limited stock, too.
Even though the flyer clearly mentions 40-50 per club for stocking options, it doesn’t clarify whether it’s these number of units just for each size variant of the iPhone 6, or for the entire stock combined (which is going to make all the more less attractive). Also, it’s possible that some locations of Sam’s Club might not even carry the 64GB and 128GB models of the iPhone 6 at all, although it isn’t clear which ones. Essentially, for now, we know that Sam’s Club is offering such a promotion, but further details will surface as we move closer to the promotion date.
Beyond offering iPhone 6 units on a sale price, Sam’s Club is also shaving off $100 on the first-gen iPad Air with 16GB storage, and this deal is being offered both in-store and through the outlet’s website.
It’s interesting to see Sam’s Club kicking off the holiday sale sooner than most others, although we are certain we’ll see a lot more deals begin to surface as we move further into the month of November. Keep your eyes out!
