Disagree with the iPhone having a long way to go to beat the Android. Having had access to both phones for a long-ish period of time I would say technologically speaking the iPhone was ahead of the Android. Minus, say processing speed and whatnot. The multi-touch and touch screen in general on the iPhone are much much better than those on the Android. The Android's touch screen, to me, seemed much less responsive to touch. Now I have a feeling that you are more talking about the developers side of the phone. Yes, the Android is much more customizable and is open development. But if that is what you are basing how well made the phone is then you are wrong. And get used to not having open development on the iPhone, it will most likely never have it.

To me, the iPhone 3G/3GS was a better made phone than the droid (for the time it was released. Now given, at this point in time the droid can do more stuff. I again expect the new iPhone to be the best (by far) in hardware.

This one and the aluminum cased one have to be the best I have seen - and I think this one may be even better. I'm sure Apple will make themselves (if not us) proud! Sure am getting tired of all the rumors - but it seems to be an annual event, so we have to get over it. iPhone has a long way to go to beat the new Android's so I hope Jobs promise of an A+ model isn't just more smoke.

Great, I hope it's more eazy to take apart for repairs. 2g is really a pain in the butt. 3g is a lot better, 3gs is about the same, just 1 more cable connector. Seems the cooler they make it look, the harder it is to fix. Kevin
