16GB – yeah fantastic. Dont see why anyone needs more than 16MB myself. I agree with you and with a computer salesman all of 8 years ago, who told me that my wanting 32MB was being greedy and unnecessary.

And as for quick transfer of pics / music / data file via SDHC or whatever, again its not really necessary is it…. has an iPhone got infrared?

But you should consider how many peoply would've unlocked and switched to verizon or another provider if they could. I think it would be in apple's best interest to make the change to CDMA and broaden the market in the U.S. , then I would switch to Verizon.

2) it isnt necessarily just about “more storage”… there is the convenience of being able to move files around. From iPhone to a device that reads memory cards to print pictures (like a printer for example) or from a camera to the iPhone to show pictures.

I mean are you really defending the lack of inclusion of a memory card slot when literally every device on earth has them and people use them reflexively? (except on the iANYTHING, of course) Maybe thats it… Since Apple refuses to use memory card slots, the small segment of the population that is “Apple only” has decided that they are unnecessary and the other billion+ people using them every day are just nuts.

Imagine that… a company making a profit from their ground-breaking innovation and design. Should they operate like a non-profit and sell their phones to you at cost? Or maybe they should operate at a deficit like the federal government. Maybe give away cell phones as an entitlement. Of course Apple charges a premium for the iPhone… as they should. It’s a premium item. Believe it or not a cell phone is a luxury item, not a staple. They should price it as high as the market allows. It’s called capitalism. It’s the foundation of our economy. Well… it used to be, until Obama started buying up the private sector and running it like a third-world dictatorship.

No sorry. Apple is going to stay exclusively with AT&T. Verizon hopes the Android can satisfy their customers who want an iPhone. They lost the fight last fall in trying to get the iPhone on their network. Maybe in the future though.

iphone!!! come to T-mobile!!! screw sprint and verizon, they would have to change allllllllllllll hardware and software to be able to connect to their network!

if iphone joins with t-mobile, A SHIT TON of people will have the iphone because people have been unlocking iphones for t-mobile for 5 years now, and now they will simply just be able to get them. It only makes sense.
