New Apple Ad Shows How iPhone 5c And iOS 7 Were ‘Designed Together’ [VIDEO]

Apple certainly knows how to make a good ad, there’s never been any doubt of that. Starting back with the original iPod ads, the Cupertino outfit has made a stellar job of not only capturing the attention of the public, but also its imagination with the often super-colorful ads that it creates.

So what do you get when you cross colorful ads with the ever colorful iPhone 5c? Well, the answer is an brightly colored ad, of course.

Entitled ‘Designed Together,’ the ad plays on the fact that Apple’s new iPhone 5c, iOS 7 and the new iPhone 5c cases were all built with each other in mind. With iOS 7’s more playful approach to the use of color and a range of iPhones that come in a collection of colors as well as cases that do the same, Apple’s design department has been working overtime on creating as many color matching options as possible.

The ad runs just shy of a minute and had us more than a little dizzy if we’re honest. It’s certainly one of the best Apple ads we’ve seen to date, and if anyone was on the fence about whether the iPhone 5c could look good, then this should put any doubts to rest. We rather like the pink phone with a green case here at Redmond Pie.

Apple’s iPhone 5c goes on sale on Friday, the same day that the premium iPhone 5s also reaches stores for the first time. Those looking to pick up the 5c have been able to pre-order their choice of handset since last week now, while those stumping up the extra cash for the 5s and its fingerprint sensor will need to chance their arm at a store on the big day else order online and count down the days before their new pride and joy puts in an appearance.

Either way, it’s not too long to wait now until we can walk into an Apple Store and check the new phones out for ourselves.
