MYRIAD Kodi Addon Not Working? Here’s How To Install It The Right Way

Is MYRIAD Kodi addon not working? Here’s how to install it the right way on existing Kodi 17 setup in the year 2017.

This process will work regardless of the hardware or platform that the Kodi installation is running on.

This addon is a wonderful little offering from developer Dandymedia which acts as a scraper to find the latest TV shows and Movies for immediate viewing on the Kodi installation. Take a look at the steps below to get it up and running on your Kodi setup.

Enable Unknown Sources

Step 1: Make sure you have a working installation of Kodi and it is running successfully on whatever hardware it has been deployed to. Select the ‘Settings’ icon, which looks like a cog, and then select System settings. Once in there, choose the Add-ons option. This will take you into the area where you can make changes relating to how add-ons work.

Step 2: Inside of the Add-ons options you should see something called Unknown sources. This should also come with a toggle switch next to it. Make sure this toggle is switched into the On position.

Install MYRIAD Kodi Add-on

Step 1: Now, back on the Kodi home screen, select the ‘Settings’ icon once again and then choose the File manager option. On the left-hand side of the interface select the Add source option.

Step 2: Click into the text field which has the <None> placeholder text already in it. This is where you are going to enter source URL to get the necessary repository installed. Enter the following URL into the box exactly as it appears: dandymedia.club/repo.

Select OK to exit that field and then select the text field underneath to add a name. We are going to name this Dandy for the purpose of this guide.

Step 3: Head back to the Home screen of Kodi and then select the Add-ons option. Select the add-on browser (box-like icon), and then select the Install from zip file option.

Step 4: Locate and select the Dandy source that you just added and then select the repository.dandymedia.zip file. This will install the necessary repository. You are now ready to get the add-on installed.

Step 5: Now go one step back, and then select the Install from repository option. Locate the Dandymedia Repository and select it.

Step 6: Select the option and then select the MYRIAD add-on. This will give you an information page on that particular add-on as well as an Install button at the bottom. Select that option and wait to install the add-on.

That’s it! Once installed, you can launch MYRIAD from the Add-ons section of Kodi.
