There's always a catch 22 from them, and this was it. Devs make websites ensuring compatibility with IE 7 where as Apple walks the other way. And speaking of the compatibility with Firefox, you should know that Mobile Me works on Firefox and Safari, BUT, it ONLY syncs Safari and IE bookmarks. How's that for stupidness??

Well, you know it’s Apple. Expecting them to play straight would be plain dumb. Or that it's in beta AND supports "modern web standards".So what's with the 3rd degree Apple? Windows Live services don't work squeaky clean in Safari either, but at least Microsoft doesn't pull a message like that. I like to note that Safari gives you only TWO choices for built-in web search, and there's very little add-ons for it, if any. Take that Apple.

I saw this too, and was quite astounded. I guess the MobileMe team hasn’t heard of IE8 before.
