How To Live Stream Super Bowl LI Online Without Cable Subscription

Here’s how to live stream 2017 Super Bowl 51 LI online for free without cable subscription on your iPhone, iPad, Android, Web, Apple TV, game console, or any other device.

We’re not sure if you are aware or not, but there’s a pretty big sporting event coming up this weekend. Whether you’re a fan of sportsball or not, there’s no avoiding the Super Bowl, and Sunday February 5th is the big date for Super Bowl LI, also known as the 2017 Super Bowl 51. There is sure to be football, entertainment and some hugely expensive halftime commercials, and while some may like to think that the United States grinds to a halt during the big event, the reality of the situation is that some people won’t be able to be at home, sat in front of the big-screen TV when the main event kicks off.

If you fall into that category, then you’re going to need a way to watch the Super Bowl on something like a smartphone or a tablet. There may even be some of you who don’t have a cable subscription, but do have access to that big TV screen that others can only dream about.

If either of these two scenarios happen to sound at all familiar to you, then fear not, because we have a range of methods with which you can watch the Super Bowl and none of them need a cable subscription in order to work. Here’s what you need to know.

When is the Super Bowl? This Sunday, Feb 5, 6:30 PM ET or 3:30 PM PT.

Who is involved? New England Patriots take on the Atlanta Falcons in Houston, TX.

How can I watch it? We’re glad you asked!

Mobile Devices (iPhone, Android)

Here’s where the NFL and Verizon have done you a solid, because the NFL mobile app, which is a free download from the App Store or Google Play Store, is offering the game for free. The downside is that this is only good for Verizon Wireless customers. Sorry, everyone else!

Apple TV, PS4, Xbox One, Other Set-Top Boxes

Head on over to the relevant app store or marketplace and check out the Fox Sports GO app. You’ll thank us for it later. The app normally requires users to sign in with their cable provider credentials, but Fox will be nixing that requirement for the big game this Sunday.

iPad, Android Tablets

Similar to the set-top boxes, owners of iPads and Android tablets will want to check out the Fox Sports GO app on the App Store or Google Play Store.

Web (Windows, Mac)

Open up your web browser of choice and head on over to FoxSportsGo.com. It might be old school, but sometimes, there is just no substitute for a good old HTML web page!
