I have to work on 4 different machines on diffferent networks and I am fed up with having to carry around memory sticks and change settings for programs as well as all of my email. Will this work on networked machines with special security that doesn't allow you to install programs etc?

This sound like a fantastic idea. This looks a lot more opt-in. It will be interesting to see if it takes off. It would be even nicer if it were extended to OpenID or something similar.

Reminds me of how MS tried to have Messenger autoload when XP booted up.
