I followed all the instructions but in restore mode, iTunes is stuck at “Preparing iPhone for Restore”. I've created the custom ispw twice, restarted my computer and iTunes, and still have the same problem. Please advice!

I downloaded the 3.1 firmware for 3GS, iPhone2,1_3.1_7C144_Custom_Restore. Tried to make a custom firmware in Pwnage Tool 3.1.3, but it searched iPhone1,2_3.1_7C144 which it supposed to be sued for iPhone 3G. Should I go ahead to use that customized firmware for my iPhone 3GS?

I had the same problem e.g. no network service, I just recreated the ispw file selecting yes when prompted whether I use itunes to activate and all seems fine now,

ive downloaded pwnagetool 3.1.3 twice and both times it failed to mount, any suggestions?
