it doesnt work after step 9!!! my phone just stayed black instead of restarting! and itunes says that its still in recovery mode and needs to be restored??!!

I am stuck in the step 9 and when I go the step 10 to restore my settings it does everything but at the end of the process my phone still exactly the same, it doesn't have icon of pwnage can someone help me ? I don't know if I am restoring it wrong..

I followed steps above until step 9 and my new 32 3GS Iphone is not starting anymore.
Itunes still says that iphone needs restore and cannot restore with 3.1.2 firmware. Can somebody help me with instructions how can I undo this firmware restore or fix this problem.
Your help is highly appreciated.

hello..can anyone tell me,now my iphone 2g version is 2.2.1(5H11),now i want to update to 3.1.3..is it i must download 2.2.1(5H11)firmware and restore back,then only can unlock?

I have an iPhone 3GS running OS 3.0.1, jailbroken, and want to upgrade to either 3.1.3 or 3.1.2 because some apps won't run/install with the old OS. My baseband is at 4.26.08. I have a MAC and PC, so platform ins't an issue. What is the best route to take?
