help! my iphone 2g was accidentally updted to itunes 3days ago! after the update my iphone was stuck to emrgency call screen and the itunes saidthat the sim card was not supported! i tried jailbreaking it w/ blackra1n but it wont work!!!!! help me out guys!!!! please!!

Hi.

I purchases iphone 3gs ( country locked and non-jail breaked). It got update to the latest IOS 4.0.. and now have the latest firmware 4 boot loader 6.4 baseband 05.13.04..

I am looking fwd to jailbreak and unlock the iphone 3gs. Tried downgrading it to 3.1.3 however encounter error 3194. Have tried using umbrella-4.00.06 to save the SHS blobs..still encounter the error 3194. Please suggest.. Currently I get emergency calling option on my iphone.

I have tried all the possible solution i can found on google.. still no luck..

I just jailbroke my iphone today and have successfully enabled internet tethering following the above guide. I must say very simple and very easy to do. I have encountered one issue that I haven't found a definitive answer to and seeing how this is how I got into this, this would be the best place to ask the question.

Every time I log into iTunes now, I get a message that says an update to the carrier settings is available and if I would like to update. Is this a safe thing to do? I know not to update the firmware but I am unsure as to updating the carrier settings. It does get annoying but if it is something that I have to live with so be it.

I have an iPhone 3GS 16GB. Version 3.1.2 (7D11). Carrier AT&T 5.5. Modem Firmware 05.11.07 If you need anymore information just ask.

hey,
my 3.1.2 currently have a bad install, hangs a lot just because of the number of things i installed with cydia … how can i “restore” a 3.1.2 again ? I tried with redsnow because since it does not use itunes does not check against the signature server but i always get the same installation i previously had so
Please help
