If apple didn't want people to jail break they could come out with a patch to stop it for good.
Then why don't they?
Well more then 10% of all ipod touch and iphones sold are only bought because of jail breaking.
That means apple makes 10% more money because of jail breaking.
So why would they try to stop it?
The Ipad will be jail breakable, it will just be a matter of time.

The only way I will buy an iPad is if Im promised that it can be jailbroken untethered. I'll wait till then, or until an OSX tablet is released.

Patience grasshoppers. Apple always gives us what we want, just not right away.
