To a lot of consumers, Black Friday may represent a chance to make a significant financial saving on a range of “must have” consumer technology products, but to retailers, the bigger picture is always at the forefront of any company plan. Black Friday represents the beginning of the extremely financially lucrative holiday shopping season, and more often than not is one of the busiest periods of the year for physical and digital retailers. Black Friday falls on November 27 this year, and with deals sometimes being limited in terms of quantity, we’re looking to bring the best iPhone-centric deals out there directly to you.
Here are some of the best iPhone deals available via online and in-store channels this Black Friday 2015.
Target is offering a nice little Black Friday deal on the latest iPhone 6s and 6s Plus as part of a device installment plan with a number of networks. The purchase of an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus on Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T will also bring with it a $250 Target gift card.
Making a purchase of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus on a two-year contract plan from Verizon and Sprint will get you a $50 discount, but the $250 gift card will not be applicable here. This puts the 16GB iPhone 6s at $149.99 and the 16GB iPhone 6s Plus at $249.99.
The deals are only available as an in-store purchase and are live right now at all Target stores.
Walmart is using Black Friday to try and appeal to those looking to purchase a new iPhone. Like Target, Walmart is including the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus as part of the deal. Unlike Target, the company is also throwing the iPhone 5s, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus into the mix. Purchases of those devices through AT&T Next or Verizon device payment plan, will benefit from a $200 reward, offered as a $100 bill credit and a $100 Walmart gift card.
Walmart is offering up appointments for this deal at 18:00 local time on Thanksgiving Day, with activations beginning later in the evening at 21:00.
Best Buy is looking to offer the same type of deal and saving that Target is hoping will entice consumers in to purchase a new iPhone. The purchase of an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus on an AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint device installment payment plan, along with the trade-in of an older iPhone 5 or newer unit, will result in a $200 Best Buy gift card.
This is a funny one, and not one you’d really expect to see popping up for Black Friday. As part of an online only deal, eBay’s deals site will be pumping out new deals every hour. Some of the notable deals include the unlocked 16GB iPhone 6s in Rose Gold at a 3% discount for $629. Keep your eyes peeled for this deal, which goes live on Thanksgiving day at 9:00PM P.T at eBay. The 64GB unlocked iPhone 6s (Rose Gold, Gold, Silver, Space Gray) will be available for $719 after a discount of 4%. This particular offer will be available starting Friday.
A lot of online retailers are starting to employ a dynamic approach to Black Friday. Meaning that deals and offers are constantly changed and amended throughout the day. It’s always worthwhile checking consistently if you’re on the lookout for a specific product.
