Mac OS XAccording to recent tweets from members of iPhone Dev-Team, the all new ultrasn0w which has been written again from scratch for unlocking iPhone 4 is all set and ready. The wait now is probably for comex to package and release the new all iOS device jailbreak so that this new ultrasn0w can be released for iPhone 4.
Planetbeing: We’re gonna be able to give you an unlock with the jailbreak.
Planetbeing: It will probably be the usual thing where you jailbreak and then install ultrasn0w from Cydia.
MuscleNerd: @Gangstatyzz hmm just staying the unlock is ready now, for whenever the public JB is done + debugged + packaged
I personally think we are really very close to a public release of an all iOS device jailbreak. Stay tuned as we will let you know as soon as it is ready for download !!

Is there ANY WAY to jailbreak my iPod Touch 3G 32 GB on on iOS4? No, SHSH was not saved on 3.1.2
It was however saved on 3.1.3

My iphone 3gs is jailbroken with Blackra1n, Cydia and Winterboard. Its bootrom is 359.3. The SHSH is saved to Cydia and verified with tiny umbrella and on the iphone on Cydia. From what I have read, I can keep the jailbreak even if I upgrade to OS4. Is this correct? If so, what is next? If I upgrade do I have to jailbreak again? Thanks.

Ok, so I need to re-jailbreak by 3GS MC model with 359.3 and SHSH saved to Cydia. Do I need to use the new OS4 software jailbreak or go back to Cydia. Blackra1n, Winterboard? Thanks.

wow, Apple! Guess what?A lot of people got the iPhone 4 without the crappy AT&T service. People (along with myself ) are dieing to get the unlock and jailbreak. Once a day I take my phoone out of it's box and turn it on just to ease the jones. It's starting to not work. I need my permanent iPhone 4 fix. Help us DevTeam Help us. Oh, and who ever is directing those facetime ads should be fired. 3 out of the 4 are creepy. Especially the dad and the daughter and the one with the girl with the bad haircut. Both guys act like stalkers or perverts. Hey, I know I could do better.

Its free to everyone, get off your high horses and wait – alternatively starting learning and do it if its that easy.
The majority of people wait patiently and are greatful for the time and effort put into the jb / ul and then this is given away FREE – it will be ready when its ready!

Many thanks for the update. Hopefully there will be a download link on this site soon with instructions how to perform the jailbreak and the unlock procedures as this will be my first attempt at a jailbreak (yes I am a jailbreak virgin lol) I am only really keen as I would like to try out some sat nav apps before making an official purchase for the one I most like from the iTunes Apps store for my new iPhone 4. As I am new to the cydia store can anyone suggest any other useful apps that I should also consider trying?
