The jailbreak community is well known not only for innovation and the production of tweaks which enhance iOS devices, but also for the wealth of development talent which exists in and around the community. Ask any regular jailbreaker and I would put money on the fact that they could confidently name at least a handful of developers who produce the tweaks that we find within Cydia.
For those of us who use Twitter and follow updates from our favorite developers, it isn’t uncommon to see regular announcements giving away tweaks and licenses for jailbroken users. To celebrate the holiday period, and to give back to the community which supports their work a group of iOS jailbreak developers have created a group called iOSPromo, with the sole intention of giving away sixty five free copies of some of the most popular tweaks available.
The rules of the giveaway are beautifully simplistic. The tweaks on offer are considered to be some of the most popular, well developed offerings available on Cydia by the communities most respected developers. The tweaks are all compatible with the latest version of the iOS operating system and have a combined value of over $20 which gives users the chance to make some significant savings on these essential packages.
