so basically the iphone 4 is still unlock able until it is jail broken and that won't happen till the iso 4.1 is released which then would result in the release of the jailbreaking tool which allows us to unlock tthe ipone the question is when ?

Well this time i will not ugrade to 4.0.1 until i am sure there is a proper jailbreak for ipod touch 2g mc models. Considering i made that mistake when the 4.0 came out. Anyway, i bet apple is just being mean! Noticing all the jailbreaks trying to develop. So i will wait for a jailbreak before i do ANYTHING

i feel as though one of these many bugs is to force us to upgrade and allow them to patch another exploit. come on, they spend so much money and months testing these.

The signal issue on the iPhone 4 is hardware related, not software. It occurs from shorting the left and bottom antenna, a software update will not fix this.

My guess is that this isn't an accident or something. Pretty sure apple released it just so they can see what unlock or jailbreak method with counter it, than immediately have “reception issues” that came with the new os. Now let's wait acouple more months for a new jailbreak or unlock everybody
