iOS 11.2 Beta 4 Download Released For Testing [Updated]

Apple has made available iOS 11.2 beta 4 download for testing purposes to members of Apple Developer Program.

Registered developers and public testers have thoroughly been enjoying iOS 11.2 beta 3 since earlier this week. This is definitely one of the appealing aspects of being an iOS developer as Apple continuously calls on you to test and put new software through its paces. With that said, iOS 11.2 beta 3 is now old hat, with beta 4 now available to download already.

As for what those users can expect in beta 4, well, expect it to be nothing more than a largely refined version of everything that has already been introduced since beta 1 seed of iOS 11.2. We already know that previous beta 3 seed of iOS 11.2 introduced 7.5W fast wireless charging for the iPhone 8 / 8 Plus, and the iPhone X.

Similarly, in one of the previous betas, Apple fixed a rather weird bug which would cause the stock Calculator app to display incorrect results when certain numbers were quickly added. Much to the delight of device owners, Apple is also using iOS 11.2 to essential unlock the Apple Pay Cash beta feature which allows finances to be transferred seamlessly through iMessage using the Apple Pay payment platform.

iOS 11.2 also introduces some clarity around how the Bluetooth and WiFi toggles work in Control Center, which will definitely bring peace-of-mind to a lot of people.

If you are a member of Apple Developer Program with a configuration profile already installed, you can grab the OTA update from Settings > General > Software Update section of your iOS device.
