How To Install Kodi Git Browser Addon From TVADDONS

Here’s how to download and install Kodi Git Browser addon from TVADDONS for your Kodi setup.

This process should work for all modern versions of Kodi and will work regardless of the platform that Kodi is installed on.

Git Browser is essentially a Kodi add-on which lets the owner of the device install new and interesting add-ons directly from its GitHub repository rather than having to download files and go through any type of manual installation process. This particular add-on is part of the TVADDONS repository, and, quite simply, makes installing and using add-ons so much easier for the user. Let’s cut through all of the chit-chats, dive right in and take a look at the step-by-step guide to installing Git Browser.

Enable Unknown Sources

Step 1: Launch Kodi and select the ‘settings’ icon from the Home screen. Select System settings and then Add-ons option.

Step 2: Click on the Unknown sources option to ensure that it’s enabled. This will allow you to install additional sources.

Installing Git Browser

Step 1: You’re going to need the Indigo tool installed. Select the ‘settings’ icon and then choose File manager. Select the Add source option.

Step 2: Click into the box with the <None> placeholder text already in it and add the following URL exactly as you see it here: http://fusion.tvaddons.co/

Select OK to exit and add a name to the source. We will call this .fusion2.

Step 3: Select OK to exit and head back to the Kodi Home screen. Select the Add-ons browser and then select Install from zip file. Locate the Fusion source that was just added and select the plugin.program.indigo-x.x.x.zip file.

Step 4: You will get a notification from Kodi to confirm that the installation has been successful. You now need to launch the Indigo tool by heading to Program Add-ons and launching it.

Step 5: To get the Git Browser add-on, select Addon Installer from within Indigo tool and finally select the add-on called Git Browser.

Step 6: When the popup appears asking you to download it, confirm the download. A progress bar will appear showing the progress of the download.

That’s it! The add-on should install relatively quickly and you can go ahead and browse the GitHub from your Kodi setup easily.
