Imgupr For iPhone And iPad Is Arguably The Best Third-Party Imgur Client We’ve Come Across

Imgupr is a new iPhone and iPad app that makes getting images and photos from an iOS device and into Reddit or Imgur, as easy as possible. Oh, and it’s free.

If there is one thing we are not short of in the online world, it’s places to upload all our photos to. With Flickr, the original online photo sharing site, now beginning to lose some of its sheen, many people have jumped ship to alternative services. Others have moved to services that are less online galleries, and more just dumping grounds for images that make sharing an URL across social networks as easy as 1,2,3.

Reddit and Imgur are two of the choices that many people go for when choosing somewhere to upload their images to. Both offer their own features and benefits, but both have one thing in common – they need some way of getting images from an iOS device and into the cloud.

Imgupr is one solution, and it is now available as a free universal app that is also completely devoid of in-app ads, which is unusual to say the least.

Both the iPad and iPhone version of the app are Retina Display capable, according to the app’s developer, and they both allow users to either upload images that are already on the device, or take them there and then before uploading them. Pretty standard fare, but features that still need to be done right.

Imgupr will also keep track of what you have uploaded previously, making managing those photos a cinch, and allowing users to keep track of links and the like without having to leave the app. All good stuff!

The app itself, while flying under the radar for many, is currently receiving some fairly impressive reviews on the App Store, so if you use Reddit, Imgur or both, then Imgupr may well be an app that is worth your time to investigate. Throw in the fact again that the app is free, with no ads and seemingly no hidden snafus, and Imgupr may well be a winner.
