When Apple started to send the iMac Pro out to reviewers for them to test and, ultimately, tell us all how brilliant they appear to be, perhaps the most obvious thing about them initially was the brand new Space Gray Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Keyboard.

While not available to buy separately, all three new accessories are available when purchasing a brand new iMac Pro.

While this policy may change at some point, Apple does not appear to have any plans to offer them to mere mortals any time soon. That led to many predicting a used market that could explode soon after the iMac Pro started to ship and, what do you know, someone is trying to sell the trio of accessories for what can only be described as silly money.

Currently available as an eBay auction, one opportunist is offering the full set – a Space Gray Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Keyboard – for the mouth-watering price of $2,499. As of the time of writing this, the auction is still available and there is at least an option to make an offer if that ridiculous asking price does not float your boat. We do wonder how low the seller is willing to go on these accessories, and until they sell, there really is no knowing just how much people are willing to pay for them. What I do know is that I would rather have a new iMac with white accessories than spend this kind of money on Space Gray mice, keyboards, or trackpads.

Maybe I’m just not committed enough to the Space Gray cause!

How much would you be willing to pay?
