It's launch week for the HTC HD2. I would assume that HTC must have accumulated a large stockpile of these phones, ready to sell at launch.

Now the question is... what will HTC do with these defective handsets? Will it sell them anyway? Or will it trash the stockpile?

And what should buyers of this phone do? In the store, should you take a photo against a white background to test if the "pink aura" problem is there?

If you do receive a "pink aura" defective handset, will HTC offer a refund? Or an exchange? And how much time do users have to make that exchange?

So many questions! I hope HTC makes an official statement about this.
