For now Google has no need to kill the iphone. The smartphone market huge. They can dominate the market without killing the iphone. They will kill blackberry first before the iphone.

HELP!!! ive tryd to root my nexus one and now it wont work evry time i try to turn it on i get the start screen with the unlocked icon at the bottom and then nothing wont even turn off and i dont have the original rom what can i do

Is there a way to backup & restore the existing ROM first? Just in case if our Nexus One became an expensive paper weight…
