How To Download Facebook Videos On iPhone

If you’ve ever wanted to download a Facebook video for offline viewing, then this new jailbreak tweak is for you.

Facebook is becoming more deeply integrated with our lives with each passing day, whether we like it or not. Even those who have historically shunned the social network are finding it increasingly difficult to ignore it, as more of their friends start to almost live there. Facebook is fast becoming something we just cannot ignore.

So with that in mind, we might as well embrace it, and with the social network increasingly becoming the place that many of us get our videos rather than YouTube, being able to save those clips to our iPhones is a feature that would be most welcome. Facebook doesn’t make that possible with its current iOS app, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t other ways.

Enter Prenesi, a new jailbreak tweak that hooks right into the existing stock Facebook app and adds a new option to download the video of choice right to the iPhone or iPad that it is being shown on. The integration is seamless, and you could be forgiven for thinking that the option has been there all along. Those are our favorite types of jailbreak tweaks.

Available to download for free but with ads that play before each download that can easily be disabled, the Prenesi jailbreak tweak can be grabbed right now via the BigBoss repository in Cydia. It’s a perfect solution for anyone who has found themselves wanting to save a Facebook video for offline viewing or simply doesn’t want to be tied to the app when they want to watch it, and considering the fact it is free and that those ads can be turned off, there really isn’t a great deal not to like here.

Download the tweak, give it a spin, and let us know in the comments section how it fared for you.
