We’re big fans of simplicity and minimalism here at Redmond Pie, and having been more impressed by last month’s release of the elegant 0bscure 7 WinterBoard theme, we’ve now been treated to an equally slick lock screen theme by the same developer. GRAND LS is a clutter-free, uncomplicated lock screen alternative featuring a large, artsy digital clock as its show piece, and if you’ve been looking to tinker with the appearance of your iOS device’s front page, then look no further than the GRAND LS.

What I find particularly striking about GRAND LS is that it has a neat night-stand look about it, and although I don’t personally own a dock for my iPhone 5s, I would imagine that this theme looks its very best when docked or attached to some kind of stand.

Not only is the clock visually appealing, but even though it takes up a large part of the display, it doesn’t obscure the backdrop. So if you have a nice abstract wallpaper or landscape, you’ll still be able to enjoy its aesthetic charm while using the GRAND Lock Screen.

We’ve seen a lot of lock screen themes following the jailbreak of iOS 7, and this is, in our opinion, one of the best to date. And because you can alter the color and opacity of the font, it works with literally any color or general theme you’re trying to achieve.

A new arrival in Cydia, GRAND LS will set you back $0.99which is definitely good value for money, and if you’re as impressed by it as we are, then you can grab it right now from the ModMyi repository. Keep in mind, there are different variations of this tweak depending on the device you’re downloading it for, so make sure you download the right one.

Oh, and if you’re looking for an all-round clean look across your entire iOS device, then we’d highly recommend grabbing the 0bscure 7 theme, which is also found over at the ModMyi repository.
