Google Play Surprise Calendar Offering Free / Price-Cut Apps, Music, Movies And More Every Day This Holiday Season

As with Apple and the 12 Days of Christmas app, Google has launched its own festive goodie bag for those running its flagship Android mobile operating system. Today arrives the very first in a series of savings and giveaways on things like apps, games, books, TV shows, music and movies, and the surprise calendar countdown begins with a $35 credit for Hotel Tonight.

Now, Google has run plenty of Google Play promotions in the past, but this time around, it looks as though the search giant has been working on striking deals with particular companies to bring an even better deal to its customers this time around.

Last year’s ten apps for ten cents over the course of ten days was a hit, and was a great token of the company’s gratitude to consumers for downloading ten billion apps at Google Play, but the Big G has gone above and beyond to bring more than just apps to the table on this occasion.

This initial offer requires users to download a Hotel Tonight application, but by tapping in a special promo code (Google35), a $35 discount will be applied towards a stay at one of the chain’s hotels.

The promotions begin today, and will run all the way through to January 1st, 2013. At this point in time, we cannot be sure what the terms and conditions of the deals are, or whether they’ll branch outside of the confinements of the United States.
