The Official Google eBookstore went live a few hours back. And now the official Google Books app for Apple iOS and Android devices are already available for download.
The best part of the deal is that you get to have an instant access to the Google Books catalogue that has over 2 million books. With the iOS and Android apps now available, you will be able to download these books right away and read them on the go on the device of your choice!
On iOS devices, users will get to have the same iBooks and Kindle feel of reading the book, with page flips and turning animations that we have all grown to love. However there is this typical Google’s color schemes, though this shouldn’t be a big turn off since you will be able to read these book offline. Some more tid bits include:
