How To Get iGBA 2.0 Game Boy Advance Emulator On iOS [No Jailbreak Or Computer Required]

Here’s how you can get up and running with the brand new, entirely rebuilt, iGBA 2.0 emulator, which allows you to play Game Boy Advance games directly in your web browser.

Where iOS or mobile is concerned, there is no jailbreak or PC/computer needed for this to work.

For those that may not know, iGBA is an excellent web-based emulation experience that lets you play Game Boy Advance games directly on your mobile device without having to actually worry about sideloading an app that could have its certificates revoked, or jailbreaking it for that matter. This particular version has been entirely rebuilt to provide an enhanced and more feature-rich experience. We know you are chomping at the bit to get up and running with this, so let’s not waste any additional time and dive right into the process.

Step 1: First and foremost, you are going to need to open the iGBAEmu website (igbaemu.com) up on Mobile Safari on your device that you want to install it on.

Step 2: Tap on the Open iGBA link, which sits underneath the Reddit link.

Step 3: This will take you to a new page that asks you to prove that you aren’t a robot. Tick the box and then tap on the relevant squares to complete the process. Once accepted, tap the button below to proceed.

Step 4: You will need to wait through a countdown before your link is ready. When that counts down to zero, tap on the Get Link button.

Step 5: You will then be directed to another page with information about iGBA 2.0. Tap on the Get Started button to be taken into the emulation experience.

Step 6: Once inside the actual emulator, you will need to add ROMs to be able to play any games. You can select the ADD ROM button under the iGBA header to manually add games, or you can select the shopping bag icon in the top right to view an archive of ROMs that can be added to your library with a single tap.

And that, ladies and gentleman, is all that she wrote.

You are now able to save that link to your Home screen as an app link, launch it whenever you want, and get a wonderful Game Boy Advance emulation experience directly in your web browser.
