Arent you saying that i raise that number only if i need more than 5000 folders to remember their settings? My folders cant even automatically change the file in folder total after deleting a file..... or even remember other basic things.<br>Something deeper must be screwy.

If I never need <br

Well, will see if it works when I restart my computer.

I have untill now avoided the Regedit.
Your outline of what has to be done was so clear.
I had seen others but was a bit daunted.
I may now look into some more fixes, feeling a bit more confident.
I did contact Microsoft and they were unable to offer me tis fix.If I close the lid of my laptop before it has completely shut down my packed Gadget Bar is shuffled on restart. May be now I can find a fix for that .Thanking you most sincerely again .

Thank you ever so much for the Vista Folder Settings Fix.<br

Also I really appreciate being able to leave a comment, unlike the web sites that need a full registration process.

<img
