I'm having the same problem here. I have a jailbroken iPhone 3GS and clicked on the reset button (I had cydia and appsync installed, along many hackd apple api's). Now I'm stuck on the apple logo. Not even iRecovery would solve it. when I try to re-jailbreak it it keeps showing “waiting for nand” msg.
Can Any one help us?

I would really appreciate some advice -
After upgrading my iphone 1st generation using pwnage tool 3.1 I successfully created the custom restore – however when I went to itunes 9.01 (os 10.6.1) Instead of Click ALT Restore – I just clicked Restore & itunes Downloaded the Restore Files from the Apple Servers. Itunes then told me i cant use my sim card in the phone & wants me to inset the original sim card (which i still own – but isnt activated )
My problem now is every time i connect to iTunes I have no longer have the option to restore or anything else apart from itunes wanting to reconnect to the server.
Is there anything I can do – ive tried repeating the pwnage both 3.1 & 3.0 but itunes still doesnt give me the option to restore – Ive even tried different computers & older versions of itunes ie 8.2 but still no option that allows me to restore using the custom restore files pwnage tool created .
I would really appreciate a little of your time on this – is there anything i can do ?

ok, I tried all of this when my 3G got stuck at waiting for reboot, and none of it worked. Instead of using redsn0w 0.8, I tried redsn0w 0.72 and it did the job!! Hope this helps anyone! (=
