Extra_Recipe+YaluX Jailbreak With Cydia, iPhone 7 Plus Support Coming

It is now confirmed that extra_recipe+yaluX beta 2 jailbreak with Cydia and iPhone 7 Plus support is coming soon. Here are the details.

Nobody ever said that the world of jailbreaking was a clear and well defined one, but that doesn’t stop the folks who we rely on to create jailbreaks aren’t hard at work doing what they do best – hacking iOS devices.

We told you earlier that you can now download extra_recipe+yaluX iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak for iPhone 7 after the developer Luca Todesco made it available to all, and if you are in need of jailbreaking an iPhone 7 running iOS 10.1.1 then today is your lucky day indeed. Things have gotten even better since the initial news though, with confirmation that a new version is coming soon.

The confirmation comes from xerub – the guy who released updated version of Ian Beer’s mach_portal exploit on which extra_recipe+yaluX jailbreak is based – who has made it clear that those looking to download extra_recipe+yaluX with Cydia should be able to do exactly that at some point “later tonight or tomorrow.” Further to that, we can also expect “support for earlier i7(+) probably by weekend.”

Now given that Luca Todesco was quick to release extra_recipe+yaluX beta 1 with xerub’s exploit, he will hopefully do the same and release beta 2 once xerub makes updated version of the exploit available. That’s excellent news for those who find themselves in that position, and further proof that development on iOS jailbreaks is alive and well no matter how difficult Apple manages to make it.

We’ll of course let you know whenever extra_recipe+yaluX beta 2 is available to download. In the meantime, we recommend reading our previous coverage on the initial release from earlier today for the ins and outs, and as always we have a jailbreak guide that you can follow should you be jailbreaking your iOS device for the first time. Our suggestion? If you have a non-jailbroken iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 10.1.1, just wait for this updated version of extra_recipe+yaluX before taking the plunge.
