Evasi0n7 v1.0.4 Released To Fix Important Security Issues, Reboot Loop On Retina iPad mini

After releasing version Evasi0n 1.0.3 only yesterday, Evad3rs have now just pushed out another update to Evasi0n iOS 7.x jailbreak, this time updating it to version 1.0.4. This new version includes an important security fix related to untether which was first reported by Winocm earlier today, as well as a proper fix for boot loop issues on Retina iPad mini.

Official changelog of version 1.0.4:

evasi0n7 updated to 1.0.4 at with important untether security fixes & (we hope) no more iPad mini Retina JB issues!

Existing JB users will receive the evasi0n7 1.0.4 untether security update through Cydia as soon as @saurik refreshes his repository!

So yes, if you are already jailbroken on iOS 7.x, just wait for the update to appear on Cydia, which should be very soon. You don’t have to restore/re-jailbreak using the Windows or Mac OS X tool.

Earlier today, Saurik released a minor update to Cydia Substrate, and a major update to WinterBoard with full compatibility for iOS 7 and ARM64 devices like the iPhone 5s, iPad Air and Retina iPad mini.
