oh.. Did you have your SSH stored on Cydia? If yes then i can help you downgrade.

hmm.. did you use the latest V1.4? The developer has fixed all the 3GS issues and it should have gone properly.

As I have said earlier, this tool only works if your iPhone 3GS has older bootrom. It wont work with newer 3GS.

my name is munir frm Bangladesh. This is my 1st post to any iphone forum; although i am quite new! y phone is iphone 3GS 16 GB Black with iboot 35.3 and a serial of XXX35.. etc. My battery charge went off so i had no other option but to look for jailbroken firmware update. Today i upgraded my firmware to 3.1.3 ( previously it was 3.1.2, 05.11.07)and jailbroke following all the provisions in sn0wbreeze post for jailbreaking. it seems that the jailbreak worked. currently my iPhone 3GS is Sn0wbree custom firmware version 3.1.3 (7E18) with Modem Firmware being 05.11.07. but my problem is with unlocking the set.
Everytime i tried to unlock my set with blacksn0w, be it from cydia via a wifi zone or trying with non-wifi versioS, my handset STOPS TO REBOOT every-time i attempt to unlock. meaning that i need to jailbrek &restore back and forth every time my charge is over or i try to unlock. Meanwhile . ALL I HAD TO DO IS TO RESTORE MY CUSTOM FIRMWARE. i think, a customized 3.1.3 OS compatible blacksn0w/ultrasn0w could only unlock an iphone when the version of the those two unlocker are compatible with the OS FIRMWARE VERSION. i NOTICED AND MAY BE THAT WAS PRECISELY THE CASE FOR Blackra1n / blacksnow can only unlock upto 3.1.2. this is so far my understanding on the topic entirely upon learning abt iphone through reading forums like yours. i like yr posts and thats why seeking yr expert suggestion on my way forward towards unlocking my iphone. plz bro help.

I'm new at this and accidently downloaded that stupid 3.13 software on my iPhone and am finding it difficult to jailbreak it!

My iphone an UnJailBroken 3gs. s/n xx928xxxxxx, bootrom 359.3, MB715, bootloader 6.4, baseband 5.12.01.

Tried Sn0wbreeze v 1.5.1. to no avail. after I select the iPhone2,1_3.1.3_7E18_Restore file, Sn0wbreeze reports a notice: this device cannot be JailBroken with Sn0wbreeze unless it is already JailBroken. I have continued the process anyway and in the end wind up with the 1604 error that iREB is used to workaround. IREB is however does not work with 3gs.

Did I miss something in the instructions here? I am not trying to unlock – just JB. Is it the iPhone2,1_3.1.3_7E18_Restore file? Is it the 5.12.01 Baseband? is it the Un JB'ed status of the phone? Or is just a bug in new software.

Help would be grand.

sn0wbreeze worked great at first, but when I went to unlock it with blacksn0w for tmobile, it literally froze my iphone with the snowflake logo at the startup.. that's as far as it gets. How can I restore my iphone back to the original settings?

remove sim first, use redsn0w, browse iphone firmware 3.0, check Cydia & unlock, load bootloader 3.9 & 4.6 click next connect iphone then put iphone in DFU mode (follow the redsn0w guide to enter DFU mode)

For those getting a blank screen and no reboot at the end. Uncheck the “Already Pwned” option. That sored it for me.

i have a MAJOR problem. i need help, i've been looking everywhere for help. i bought a 2g for my younger brother, it was already jailbroken. however he accitdentally “updated” it and im trying so hard to downgrade it and/or to jailbreak the current 3.1.3. however its not working. on itunes it says “success” but when the phone turns on, theres just an image of the “connect to itunes.” i cant get to the menu at all. only the “connect to itunes” image and “slide for emergency.” please help me!!! please email me at annaalexandra.jevtic@gmail.com

jus put itunes on before youplug in your ipod then hold the home button as you connect it to your pc it should restore it when you see ipod in recovery mode detcted

when i hit shift and restore my itunes always contact apple for new update and its not asking me for where the ipsw file even i hit the shift key and i am using window vista with iphone 3g 3.1.3 and latest itunes in it

i keep holding the shift key until itunes try to restore but still having same problem

theres no unlock for 3.1.3 3G and 3Gs unless you using 2G iphone.

unlock works – new T-mobile is shown at top of screen but the screen is locked on the iTunes sync screen. Any thoughts?
