I have iPhone 3GS 3.1.3 MC edition. I have downloaded the 3.1.2 OS Firmware. Will this version of RedSn0w work to only jailbreak? I don't care about unlocking as I am on original carrier.

when it wants you to restore it than you either do so or if it will not work with your current firmware then hold down option (MAC) and choose the firmware you need or hold down control (PC) and then you can jailbreak but if you already have jailbroken and it still wants you to restore then you have done somthing wrong and you will need to start over

when you see the 2 boxes first click on install cydia then when done run redsnow another time but this time unchek install cydia click on the other button then it wil work.

Hey all i just tried to jailbreak my 2G ipod touch. all went fine until at the end the screen wants me to connect it to itunes and restore it. any suggestions?
