Download Galaxy S8 Launcher APK For Any Android Device [No Root Required]

You can now download Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ Launcher APK leaked version on any Android without requiring any root. Here are the details.

Samsung’s next flagship handsets, the Galaxy S8 and S8+, are a few weeks away from an official plunge in the market, but that doesn’t mean prospective owners, as well as general Android fans, can’t get an early insight into the S8 experience beforehand. In addition to the official Galaxy S8 and S8+ wallpapers being made available, the S8 launcher experience has also been pushed out into the public domain prior to device launch, available to download in an APK format for use on other Android devices.

Gone are the merry old days of being interested in a brand new device, waiting patiently for it to be announced, and then waiting even more patiently for it to launch before getting an understanding of the experience it provides. Some of us even used to excitedly visit a retail or high street electronics store to try out a new device and its features prior to official availability.

Now however, in this modern world, we simply wait for the leaks to happen or certain tidbits of the experience to be ripped out of the software and given to us online. That is exactly what’s happened with the S8 Launcher after being leaked by one XDA-Developers forum member.

One of the great things about this leak – besides from the fact that Android and Samsung device fans get to actually experience the S8’s new Launcher prior to actual launch – is that it doesn’t actually require the user to have a rooted Android device to get up and running. That instantly makes it more useful to a ton more people, but hopefully those interested individuals will take note of the prerequisites, requirements, and best-practice recommendations which accompany the file download over on the original post.

You can grab the APK file from here, but do not install it just yet if you are on a Samsung device. Head over to Settings > Applications > TouchWiz Home and clear the launcher’s Data and Cache first. Once done, proceed to installing the new launcher you just downloaded and launch it like any other newly installed launcher.

Of course, if you do prefer the element of surprise, and actually want to experience this launcher first-hand, as intended by Samsung on the device it was designed for, then the S8 and S8+ will start shipping on April 21st, with pre-orders for the hardware available right now.
