Evasi0n7 jailbreak version 1.0.3 is now available to download. As we reported earlier this week, the latest iOS 7.1 beta 3 didn’t patch exploits used by Evasi0n7 jailbreak. While an official version was previously made available to jailbreak iOS 7.1 beta 3, Evad3rs have now released a new version of their popular jailbreak tool to fully support jailbreak on iOS 7.1.
Along with full support for iOS 7.1 beta 3, v1.0.3 of Evasi0n7 also includes new iOS 7 version of Cydia, and fix for boot loop issue on Retina iPad mini. While we have already posted a workaround on how to fix iPad mini 2 Retina jailbreak boot loop issue with Evasi0n7, this new version of the jailbreak tool likely has a proper fix built right into it.
Official Changelog of Evasi0n7 1.0.3:
support for iOS7.1b3, new Cydia bundle, and iPad mini Retina reboot loop fix
Those of you who are already jailbroken on iOS 7.x need not to re-jailbreak, this new version is for new users only, as also confirmed by Pod2g on Twitter:
People already running evasi0n7 1.0.2 on their devices do not have to update. evasi0n.com software updates are for new installs
if we need to update the evasi0n untether in the future, it will be available in Cydia.
