Owners of Google’s Chromecast can now take advantage of an offer that sees users receive not one, not two, but three months of Spotify Premium for free. Just think how many times you could listen to Adele’s new album then!

Oh, hang on…

So while Chromecast users can redeem their full quarter of free Spotify Premium should they so wish, but those who prefer their music with a more Google-slant to it can also choose to take advantage of a similar offer, which allows users to receive 90-days of free Google Play Music. Whichever of the two options you opt for, you can’t really go wrong as far as we can see.

Google’s Chromecast allows users to throw video and audio from a compatible smartphone or tablet onto a television screen. Similar to Apple’s AirPlay technology, Chromecasts let users liberate content from their mobile devices. The Chromecast itself plugs into an empty HDMI port on any television and then turns it into a Smart TV while offering apps as well as the aforementioned streaming of content from a mobile device or from Google Chrome on Windows and OS X via the Chromecast browser extension.

On the subject of the hardware, Google is currently offering two second-generation Chromecasts for $50, which is a bargain in itself. When you remember that each of those Chromecasts gets you three months of either Spotify Premium or Google Play Music, it’s cheaper to buy the Chromecasts and use the free access than it is to pay for three months-worth of either. Something to bear in mind the next time your subscription is up for renewal.

Google’s offers are part of the Black Friday sales event that takes a lot of the planet by storm over the Thanksgiving weekend. If you need a Chromecast or two or simply want cheap access to streaming music, you could do worse than pick up a shiny new Chromecast today.

To take advantage of this offer, head over to this Google page and get your free Spotify Premium or Google Play Music subscription right now. This offer is valid for both first-generation and second-generation Chromecast models.
