I have i-phone 3Gs jailbroken, i used i-phone explorer but i can’t get access to the root. I’m not a blackra1n user, but i installed afc2add and i can’t get access too.
It seems don’t run too :S have you an answer? (excuse me for poor english)

Your phone doesn't come with SSH installed, actually when you jailbreak it for the first time you have to install it from Cydia, therefore it will not effect your phone in any way!-Richard

I have a question.
Once I have created my USB partition and stored something on it via USB, will it be possible to locate the file on the iPhone if I SSH through WinSCP.

In essence, is it possible to SSH into the USB partition, in case i dont have the USB cable with me>?

how is this different than iFunBox? I've been using it successfully for my file transfers. I haven't tried if I can make it into a flashdrive though.

You have to install iPhone Explorer on each PC that you want to use it on, also copying from the device is not 100% yet. SSH is great if you follow this post http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-secure-your-ja... but you still need to install it on both sides PC and Phone so it's a matter of choice. The post would make you think that you can create a partition and mount it like Android, now that would be just amazing. Maybe someday...
