Blyss Is A $2 iOS Puzzler That Has Gone Free As Apple’s App Of The Week [Download]

The weekend is upon us and iOS fans know well what that means; it’s time for Apple’s Free App of the Week! Today’s title – a puzzler called Blyss – usually retails for $1.99 on the App Store, but can be download absolutely free till Thursday.

Blyss was launched into immediate stardom upon launched as it was feature in the App Store’s Editor’s Choice in around 78 countries. If you’ve always enjoyed spending some time out on solving some true tile-based puzzles, Blyss is definitely something you should give a shot on your iPhone or iPad.

That said, this genre is full to the brim with an array of old and new titles, but what makes Blyss stand out from the rest? Well being listed in the App Store’s Editor’s Choice is one, but there’s more to it.

Blyss offers an un-ending experience. Sounds strange right? Well not for this nifty puzzler. The game employs “Procedurally generated Unique and Unlimited Puzzles” which pretty much gives you an entirely new experience every time you play the game, so there’s no memorizing the patterns here.

The ambient soundtrack also makes sure that you keep at the puzzles for hours on end without feeling that frustration of not being able to crack that one vital move that will allow you to move ahead. The right soundtrack to puzzles is definitely something that can make or break a title, and it seems that the Blyss developer has really nailed it here.

The complete list of features can be seen below:

– Procedurally generated Unique and Unlimited Puzzles
– 3 Challenging & Exciting Game Modes!
– Global Leaderboards for every Game Mode
– Hand crafted Missions to keep the thrill going
– Special Combo system
– Facebook and Twitter High-Score Picture Card Sharing
