Wow! What a grand platform, and what a great way to debut the first of iPad commercials. Steve couldn’t have a better event than a glamorous Oscars night, which is full of high-profile celebrities to wrap off iPad’s first public commercial. Steve Jobs himself was also present at the event when the commercials went Live.

Today in a major breakthrough, Microsoft’s Eric Rudder, while speaking at Tech-Ed Middle East, gave a fantastic demonstration of a game developed in the new Visual Studio 2010 as a singular project, that runs on multiple platforms. It can be played on Windows 7 based PC with a keyboard, on a Windows Phone 7 Series prototype device with accelerometer and touch controls, and on the Xbox 360 with gamepad. Amazing, isn’t it? One same game, running on three different screens, on three different platforms. There is also no reason why Zune wont chip-in to these sometime in near future.

Apple has made it to the victory stand of the Fortune’s “World’s Most Admired Companies”, and that too consecutively for the third year in a row. According to Fortune’s report, in the 2010 edition of their annual ranking of “World’s Most Admired Companies”, Apple Inc. is at the top of the list for the third year in a row, and by the highest margin ever in the ten-year history. Other giants like Google, Berkshire Hathaway, Johnson & Johnson, and Amazon are in the tow of Apple as per the rankings given in the survey. Microsoft could only manage 11th spot.

In January this year, Steve Jobs unveiled the much hyped iPad to the world. He, however, was somewhat ambiguous about the shipping date which he mentioned as “late March” for the Wi-Fi version of the device. Since then, no further information about a specific shipping date or pre-order options were given. For the last few days though, strong rumors were buzzing the web-world that iPad launch has been delayed by a month or so. This unspecified production problem was attributed to bottle-necks at the manufacturer’s end. Everyone was worried why Apple was keeping so mum on the subject.

It was December last year, Google human rights activists accounts in China were hacked by hackers who originated from mainland China. Few days later, Google-China debacle took a new turn when Google in a secret counter-offensive encounter managed to hack these Chinese hackers. It was successful in breaking into the source computer in Taiwan which was involved in these attacks. Google engineers also found out some evidence which indicated that the attacks were originally originated from mainland China and were possibly orchestrated by the Chinese government.

Google engineers also found out some evidence which indicated that the attacks were actually originated from mainland China and were possibly orchestrated by the Chinese government. After going public, and also announcing that other companies were attacked too, it became apparent that the Chinese were trying to steal trade secrets from US based companies.

Panasonic has announced a new line-up of “Let’s Go” notebooks and amongst them is a netbook “Let’s Note”, sporting the new Intel Core i7 processor. The netbook in question boasts of a 1.20GHz Intel Core i7-650UM vPro processor with a 10.4-inch (1024 x 768) display. Intel’s Atom chip is the standard stuff that is showing around all over as the driving CPU of the 10.1 inches netbooks these days like the Dell Mini and HP Mini, so to have a netbook with Core i7 is surely an amazing thing for this form factor.

At CES 2010 last month, Intel officially unveiled Core i5 and Core i7 processors for the first time for portable computers. Apple’s MacBook Pro line is due for an upgrade this year and it would only be wise for Apple to ship these with Core i5/i7 processors as they are now the flagship chipsets of Intel.
