Apple Seeds macOS Sierra 10.12.3 Beta 2 For Testing

macOS Sierra 10.12.3 beta 2 is available to download right now following hot on the heels of iOS 10.2.1 beta 2 release to registered developers of Apple Developer Program.

The release comes approximately six days or so after the initial beta seed of this Mac platform, and continues to progress the operating system that power millions of Macs. such as the MacBook and iMac computers, around the world.

This probably won’t come as any great surprise, but Apple has once again decided that in-depth granularity about what’s included in this particular release is of no benefit to developers and those interacting with the software.

To that end, there’s no informative release notes or changelog attached to this seed, save for the usual “improves stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac.” With that said, we do know that macOS 10.12.3 is very much the definition of a small-scale point release, meaning that there’s very little to write home about in terms of new features, functionality, or outward-facing changes.

What this release does contain is a number of fixes, improvements, and enhancement that Apple deems to be necessary for the progression of the platform. This means that those downloading and interacting with macOS 10.12.3 should receive an overall more pleasant experience on all devices, especially the brand new Touch Bar-enabled MacBook Pro.

Registered developers can grab the latest update from the Mac App Store right now.

macOS 10.12.3 beta 2 is currently available to those developers registered on Apple Developer Program only but it’s only a matter of time before Apple makes it available to public testers enrolled in Apple Beta Software Program. We will update the post to let you know whenever that happens. Stay tuned for more.
