it opens up in internet explorer, i can view them but can't upload files cuz it's a browswer

You are my savior! I tried accessing my FTP by mapping it in Win7 but it never let me add it and says it cannot be found. But it is found when i type the ftp address into windows explorer.

You really need to click the "Connect to a Web site that you can use to store your documents and pictures."

Like WTF!!! Microsoft!!

Back when using WinXP I used this method to access my remote files. I had completely forgotten about it so THANKS!! ) nice tutorial also! for those saying it does not work. Win Vista, and Win7 x64 working just fine.

I get “The FTP Session was terminated” in explorer. I can use Beyond Compare to access my FTP, but I want to be able to use explorer so I can just drag and drop files to back them up…
